M.A.F. meter sensor, code:12 !!!

My car doesn't start anymore now cuz I've put a new fuse on my subwoofer amplificator but I forgot to disconect the battery so it does a ''short''...(because the positive is connected directly to the battery)And now my car is throwing a code...: 12 - Mass Air Flow Meter Sensor ! I tried my friend's m.a.f., no succes... IF IT'S THROWING A CODE IT'S BECAUSE THERE'S A BLOWN FUSE OR A CUT WIRE BUT THERE'S NO FUSE ON THE M.A.F. SO IT'S SUPOSED TO BE A WIRE ?...? Can any other thing throw me a code or it's 100% sure it's a wire to the MAF ??? P.S. My car is a '93 240SX SE...

Just try checking all of the fuses under the hood, there's like 4 different fuse boxes around the engine.
