LUV it but fake?

I love my 2008 black g35 sooooo much but does any one else get the vibe that the g35 is some what fake? I mean compair the leater and wood grain to that of a bmw or lexus. The G is really quick looks great but the interior just seems kinda Fake. Thoughts????

I have an 08 350z dont feel that way at all besides you dont buy a G35 for the refined interior you buy it for the prefomance and styling unlesss you bought the sedan

I love the leather in my G and I don't like he wood so I went with the washi finished alu. To be honest the Bmw and Lexus are boring inside. Bmw just like any other Europian. Lexus is to refind to me. You feel like you are driving a lazyboy on 4 wheel.

G is between the luxury and sport got the best of both.

Before I bought our '08, we did test drives of the Lexus IS350, BMW 330i, Cadillac CTS (even drove an XLR -- zomg ... ! ) and Mercedes C350 ... anywhoo. I was on the technical side of the house, you know, HP, gee-whiz stuff. My wife actually liked the interior/comfort of the Lexus above all others, 2nd place was the Infiniti. I liked all the wow feature of the Infiniti, not to mention the butt-rocket it is. At the end of the day, the pro's of the Infiniti outweighed all others.

Cheap? Hardly. You want cheap, look at the CTS. I believe Infiniti and Lexus are on top of the game, followed closely by MB (interior refinement, not the lackluster peformance ... peeyew ... ), then BMW.

Just my .02 after spending 1 day driving the cars before selecting the Infiniti.
