I jsut installed my JWT cams and after several problems we have the motor running again. at idle in neutral or park the engine idles at 1100 rpm(with air conditioner on with off about 750 rpm)now when the car is in drive( i have an auto) with the a/c on it runs ok, shakes the car a little bit and pushes the car forward against the brakes. when the a/c is off it goes down and lumps like a top fuel car to stay at 500 rpm and the car shakes really bad. it doesnt feel any faster driving, but when the engine is rev'd it goes about as fast as it would stock but bouces off the rev limiter nicely. any thoughts as to why this is, could it be that i have the cam sprockets off a tooth or two?thanks

i dont think you have them off a tooth unless you didnt follow the easy instructions that Jim Wolf gives you.My manual transmission 240sx does the same thing with the cams in there. It kinda vibrates at idle and jumps around very little.Remember, these are not wild cams, they are aggressive but idle should not be too lumpy!

I have the Apexi rev/speed meter on my car with the cams and the JWT ECU.

There's a SLIGHT lumpyness to the cams. For the most part it hovers around 780 - 790, but occasionally dips to 720 and goes as high as 850 or so. It does that once every 5 seconds or so. But not lumpy like a american iron cam set.

You are not off a tooth, that is for sure... My 248 exhaust cam was rotated 3 teeth vs the 4 needed when I put it on the intake side (my friend was tired and in charge of counting while I rotated it :) ).... The engine will shake violently at idle, like 2" side to side, in fact the whole car shakes, and sounds like a hot cammed domestic with that one tooth off.
