Lumpy idle, sluggish downshifts

First post - this is an excellent forum. I leased a 94 Q when new and it was one of the most satisfying cars I've had. Recently acquired a very low miles 94Q (69K actual miles) in overall good shape. The car sat for about 6 months as an estate was settled. Going through the car to catch up on probably deferred maintenance.

I've tried to do my homework on the following idetems but would appreciate confirmation or advise on the following:

Very Lumpy idle about 600 in Drive (but no hesistation, car pulls nicely) - plan to clean MAP, check connector . clean throttle body and check EGR valve for starters. Any thing else basic?

Car pulls nicely (but not a quick as I remember) once past about 1500 but down shifts are sluggish. Plan to have the transmission flushed. Is Mobil 1 worth the extra $? Fluid level is too high - hot engine, through the gears in park.

Nit of the day: I am getting the "Stop lamp Inoperative" error display but I have checked all the lights and they appear to be working. Could bad/dirty socket caused this or is it a false reading.

1.) How lucky you are! Even rubber degrades from just sitting. Check everything, including changing all filters and fluids. Get the service history form the dealer or Infiniti.

2.) Also, the IAC and PCV valves.

3.) I use M1. Q45tech recommends 6 oz. of Lubegruard red. Over filling is bad. Install an ATF external cooler like the B&M 70264. Drop and clean the pan, replace the filter when the mechanical fluid exchange is done. Don't forget the PS fluid. How does the ATF look (white paper towel test)?

4.) Check the sockets and the bulb brand. Use OEM or in a pinch, Sylvania LL. Probably had a national US autoparts store supplied cheapo Chinese bulb inserted at some point.
