Greetings All,
This is my first post as a new member and I am glad to find a forum for the Rogue (or Rouge, if you prefer ;-).
My daughter bought a Rogue for her first car and was lucky enough to find a 2015 SL (if that is the trim model with all the bells and whistles). Any way, we are fixing bugs before she heads off to college and one is with the lumbar support on the driver's seat. I removed the panel (broken at the attachments, apparently a design flaw) and tested the switch and cannot be sure it isn't the problem. With a VO meter I determined that one side of the switch closes (completes) the circuit when you push one of the two sides of the switch, but the other side is natively closed until you move its button, which then opens (breaks) the circuit.
Is that the way it should be, or should both sides be open when not actuated and closed when actuated? If so, then I need to replace the switch.
If that is the way it should be, where is the motor located and how is the best way to access it to try and power it to see if that is the problem?
BTW, I am having a helluva time finding a comprehensive list of fuse descriptions in the supplied owner's manual materials that came with the car. Internet searches have rendered little else, so please point me in the direction of a fuse list beyond what the measly sticker at the fuse box offers.
Thanks in advance for any help or enlightenment you can offer.
