lugs dont fit...Grant or somebody?

ok went to test fir the wheels and the only problem is, the lugs i got from the tire rack are closed and the dont go on far enough, i mean there was probably 3/8 of an inch of thread still to go before it got to the wheel and it couldn't be turned any farther. should i just get some open lugs or do i have a problem?

Check to make sure they're the proper thread pitch 12x1.25 then pics please
