i personally never gave a darn about bending that cutout area lololol.Qashqai wrote:By the way, even if the cut-out is slightly bent, it is not the end of the world. You can flatten it by pliers and spray a protective material like "rocker guard".
thats fine. i usually write on the tread, but its not a big dealJostudly wrote:I just noticed my summer tires that were already balanced and on the rims do not have any markings showing where they were on the car previous.
it wont throw the balance out, but it could trip the awd to clunk in the rear differential. all 4 tires have to rotate at the same speed. if the left rear tire is a tiny bit bigger than the right rear tire = the diff will think one is spinning on ice or something. just try it. worse case scenario you'll rotate. If I install my tires do they have to be put back in the same spot where they were or will it throw off the balance?
never heard of such a thing. it might be warrantied for 90 days, but that doesnt mean the calibration is only good for 90 days.I bought a torque wrench that said it is guaranteed calibrated for 90 days. How am I supposed to know when it is out of calibration?
while they all might have the same size from the factory, after use - trust me, the are not all the same size anymore.Jostudly wrote:All 4 of my tires are the same size and are balanced. I was just wondering if they would be out of balance if I put them in the rear vs the front and also if my tpms will come on and need to be reset? My Rogue is FWD.
balance is done on the tires/rims themselves, while off the car. so where they are placed on your car is totally irrelevant.Jostudly wrote:No they should not be out of balance just wanted to make sure that I did not need to place them in the same spots on the car since they were not labeled. Will my tpms need to be reset or is that only when the tire is removed from the wheels?
Online websites like ebay or amazon have a lot of jacks that you could purchase. You could also get a breaker bar from those sites. I think craigslist or ebay, etc. are going to be your best bets for finding breaker bars or jacks online for a good price that ship to Canada.Jostudly wrote:What us the lug nut socket size for a 09 Rogue. Is it 13/16 or 21mm? Also need recommendations on a good breaker bar and 3 ton jack that will last that I can purchase either in Canada or online shipping to Canada. Thanks
