Lug nut size/thread

Howzit guys,

Can anyone tell me what the correct lug nut size is. Just ordered a rim/tire package from wheelmax for my wife's Hatchback. It included all the lugs which are stamped (m12 X 1.5) Anyways, these turned out to be a big no go! They will go on easy a good 4-5 turns before binding.

Did search this forum to no avail. and also high and low on the net for the size. I got the following from a few various sites which are definitely in conflict, m12X1.5, m12X1.25 and also one site said the versa uses a m14X1.5 lug nut. What gives/ which is it?

M12 X 1.25 thread pitch, 4 X 114.3 lug pattern.

I couldnt find any info on it either, so what I did was went to Autozone, bought 2 bolt, one was 1.5, the other 1.25. Took off my stock rim, and tested the bolt to see which threads mated totally against the other. Then went out and bought the lug nuts I needed.
