Why does it have to be broken?

because the stud and nut spin together... the threat on the stud or the hub is stripped... it has so much play i could push it in and out side to side. so i figured the only way to take it out is by breaking it...

Was thinking of removing the spindle nut and taking the hub off and grinding the back side of the stud but I dont know if you will be able to remove your brake caliper to pull it off.

if you can get the wheel off you have it whipped, just remove hub hit with a hammer and replace, it just slides in to back of hub. I had to replace one on back, easier as it can be removed with only wheel and brake drum removed. I put a stack of washers on the stud once in the hub and tightened the lug nut down to pull it fully into the hub tight

thank for all the advice but i was able to just remove the hub and rotor... and i did grind out the back of the stud and it was the hub that was stripped not the stud so i just replaced the hub... it was alot easier then i thought it took an hour to remove fix and mount it... but thank for the pointers
