What do i do about stripped lug bolt? Its the front right one. i got a 1996 240sx Base so riding on 3 tightened lugs is not an option.

i rode on 3 lugs till i could get a new one when i snapped off a lug. theyre real easy to replace, just tape them out through the back of the hub, they just knock out. dont twist them tho.. pay attention to line up the splines when installing the new ones and ones u have them partially in there, use a big washer and a lug nut and tighten the lug nut to pull in and seat the new lug. good luck

As far as installation goes...

..Do it slowly and carefully. The way I did it was by installing them loosely, but pounding them in slightly with a hammer first. Then put the wheel on, and then tighten it. As you're tightening, if you notice that the lug nut suddenly got really loose, that means the stud got unseated, and you need to start over on it.

use a big washer under the nut instead so you dont risk damaging your wheels and its easier to see wats going on.

I have some spare S13 studs (brand new) if you need one. Email me at [email protected], I'll send you one.

Pull the wheel off. Put an old lug not on the bad stud, thread it on to where 1/2 of the lug is threaded. Whack it with a large sledge, making sure to hit it evenly. It will pop right out.

Put the new stud in from the back. Put a washer, a couple bolts, and your lugnot on the stud, and tighten it down real good. You will hear the stud "seat" in the hub. Once you can no longer torque it, it's in (I recommend a little anti-sieze on the splines). Pull off the lug, the extra nuts, and the washer, remount your wheel, and roll.
