I call it completely lucky. I mean, he overshot the target by far. He just got lucky that it got picked up by the grav lift and the guy he was aiming for happened to walk by. Still cool to watch though.

Not sure if it's still up, but there was a cool video in Bungie's picks that you can download and watch. It's titled "Where'd He Go". Zoom oout and keep an eye on the mongoose. The view is horrible where it starts you in the video.

To answer your question I like Halo 3 better overall. I've had very few latency issues. Less people seem to quit. There is an avoid player feature. I'd like to see the map diversity that H2 had though, particularly with BTB games. BTB seems to cycle through only 3 maps. It's really my only complaint right now...

Halo 3 is very, very, very annoying at some points. If you guys look at the second video in my fileshare Here, you will see one of my teammates okstatebigs snipe another player from the blue team in the head 3 times in a row, blood splatters to indicate the hit, but not only does he NOT die, but it doesn't even damage his shield. In that particular match I was sniped through a wall on 2 separate occasions and okstatebigs was no scope headshotted through 2 layers of floor. Total bullcrap that needs to be addressed.

He edited it to follow the nade. I knew i've been sniped through walls lol, i thought i was the only one. I think im starting to like halo 3 better than 2, i thought about loading up two the first day i got halo 3 because i missed bxr and bxb, but i decided to stick with halo 3, although i don't like how some of the weapons work, like the br seems slower, the needler seems to kill you alot faster than it actually should, and i actually like the carbine now.

He edited it to follow the nade?

Are you sure this was luck, or was it planned out? I mean if he had the camera edited to follow the nade when he threw it... that seems like a little more then chance. Seems like its one of those trick videos where people pull off crazy moves and ****.

He went back in the replay and followed the grenade.

One thing Halo 3 actually does well is it's robust replay mode, which allows you to record entire matches and review them from any perspective--any player, floating camera, etc.

Rofl, thats pretty good. I was never a huge Halo fan, although I always had fun playing it, so I'm definately going to pick it up sometime. Probably getting Assassins Creed first though, I have been waiting for that game for a while.

apparently there is alot of glitches going on in the game. i guess thats what happens when, IMO, rush things. Alot of people are experiencing things like what you said, you can check it out from this website where i got this vid im about to post here. theres also alot of grenade weirdness. like players just attract sticky grenades.

The lucky ones, to me, are just as entertaining as the skill kills. Its funny to see how odd things can unintentionally turn out. This video is a perfect example. So what if it was pure luck, that was the point of posting the video!
