I just got one of these bottles to try and see if it will ease the hard shift from 1st to 2nd gear. Now do I just pour the whole bottle or half of it?

It all depends on if you are low on fluid or not. If you are low, I'd say drop the whole thing in. If you are filled to a little over.... I might even let some out and then pour it in. The stuff works well, I've got to put it in my 5th gen now because she slips from 1st to 2nd if I'm going hard off the line... I hate that. Anyhow, if are bothered by getting under the car and letting some fluid out I'd say only go half. One tip though, the stuff is REALLY REALLY THICK. Definitely warm it up before you try to pour it out. I normally put it in the engine bay while I do other things for a few minutes to warm it up (not ON anything hot, just around it) and then Just pour it in, you may need to squeeze the bottle to give it a little more motivation to go though. Hope this helps.
