lubrication problems !!! ???

i'm havin problems with my oil pump i think so, i turned on my engine and it was making an awful noise like the valve train it didn't have any lubrication and the engine was also squeeking i'm changing the oil pump tomorrow, what do u thinks about that? is the engine messed up?

I had the same problem after removing the timing chain cover. Turned out to be the seal that goes in between the oil pump and the pickup tube. I would check that first. It was on a 93 Ka24de motor.
