Lube points

I've always wondered this, when any of the quick oil change places advertise they do oil, lube, and filter change, what are they doing for the lube part? Do they really do anything, or is it usually just an inspection? What would I be looking for if I were to do this myself. Where are the lube points in a S13?

most cars have done away with lubing ball joints. they are usually sealed units now unless you have replaced them with after market components that have them. Ie lower control arm ball joints,tie rod ends, driveshaft u-joints, stuff like that.
