to get the engine to sit right ( have the engine and transmission completely level and centered in the engine bay) you would have to modify (cut/ massage) the trans tunnel to get the transmission to fit. also your gonna need to notch the oil pan or play with thte lower crossmemeber. of course wireing but thats usually more time than anything. you will also need to get a custom drive shaft to fit. theres alot more little details such as headers and things like that, but the lt1 actually sits pretty nicely.

i have a 2+2 as well and the lt1 is the engine i have planned for it.
like others said hybridz. lots of cool stuff on there.
keep in mind if you have smog laws or not. i live in cali, and they make things a pain so keep all the smog equipment from the original vehichle if you need to get it checked out. it will save you alot of time if you have it all up front.
keep in mind, yes you can throw the swap together and get the engine in there and not worry about it being level and all that, but in the long run it would be better to do it right

just my 2 cents anywyas. it will be better, and just look alot better.
