Hi Nico folks! So I finally decided to get a build thread going since my car is in a build status at the moment after having owned it for 12 years. The build will follow a similar philosophy to m tr4nch's build thread if you're curious. m-tr4nch-s-restoration-build-thread-56k ... 30340.html

A little bit of history:

I got the car for $3,300 with 78,000 miles on it back in 2006 when I was a junior in high school, and it was in practically mint condition. It was my first car (and only my second as of today).



I don't have many pictures from when I first got the car unfortunately, but it was perfect.










Me on the far right on a little "Cannonball Run" with some way faster cars than mine.

I'll have to see if I can find some of the old ones another time. The next post will be the start of the 1st build!

So fast forward towards the end of college and I scrounged up enough $$ to do a RB25 swap - shout out to Ricky at Raw Brokerage for the package deal back in the day.


Pulling the KA



The RB the day it showed up plus some teardown:













Re-gasketed the whole engine and added some upgrades to get it in and running in a mostly stock form.

(utilized the factory BPV in a recirc configuration, but bolted to a new flange on the new piping.)
