Hi i was at the junk yard today where i found a 300zx with all the suspension in tact they told me if i pull it my self i can get all the suspensions and lsd for around 200 they also had a j30 with the diff still in it with only 100000 miles on it however that one i cant pull and it will cost me 150 now am i better off goin with the 300zx one because im told that it is a harder swap and requires more work or should i just swap covers and throw the j30 in there. Also if someone is interested in which ever one i dont uses just let me know and ill scoop it up and ship it to you. thanks for the help guys.

I would go for the J30 since it had fairly low miles, and it's not a car that would be beat on all of the time. The viscous fluid in both differentials break down over time, and if you can find one that has low miles and hasn't been driven hard, go for it.

Make sure the J30 has the 6-bolt output shafts, and from there it's pretty much a bolt on affair. Don't add friction modifier to the LSD, just regular fluid.
