Ok, I've got a 91 se w/hicas & stock vlsd & abs. I also have a 93 se no abs, no hics, open diff. I want to swap the 2 of them but I don't know what I will have to switch. I'm also a little confused because looking at aftermarket lsds, like a kazz .Some are for cars with abs, some are not. Some for ones that came with a stock vlsd, some not. You get the picture. So all I really want to know is what do I need to switch from one car to the other while keeping both of them driveable(I'm selling the vlsd equiped one but I want to keep the vlsd). Thanks in advance.

um, your post dosent quite make sense. you say lsd and vlsd. when you say lsd, do you mean open differential?

Sorry, that didn't make much sense. I was in a rush when I wrote that earlier. I edited it to make more sense I hope.

The halfshafts on a vlsd, one side goes in a extra 1inch longer to enguage the vlsd. I don't believe you need to ues the longer VLSD halfshaft that enguages the VLSD if you are upgrading to a regular LSD. If you have ABS you will probably still have to use the ABS diff and drivesaft.
