What year did they start putting LSDs on the 240sx and on which model(i.e. 96 SE)?

started in 90 believe...and it was an option

I think any of the s13 with hicas came equiped with lsd. not for sure though.

SCC said all canadian 240s had LSD's

There have been a few Canadians on this board iirc that have stated that their 240 did not have an lsd.

US S13's with ABS might have had LSD too.. but i havent figured out if i have it or not yet.

yeah, the s13's that came equipped w/ superhicas have lsd, abs, and four wheel steering.

Also most stock SE's may have an LSD and all 300z's have them which with a little sweet talking will fit inside your dif. Good Luck.Try JSpec.com they may have one or two avalible.

if it has ABS it has LSD i heard. super HICAS is four wheel steering btw. and its 91+ yea that had the option.

Does anyone know if you can just get the LSD off of a junked 240 and add it to a Sr20 ?

Some LSDs from junked 240s will work. You need to find one with the same output shaft pattern. Also it doesn't matter if you have a SR20 or not the differential bolts to the driveshaft.
