will this LSD out of a S14 silvia K fit in my pumpkin?? will I need anything else or will it just kid off swap in??

hi... what kind of LSD is the one you got? is it a clutch type or viscous type? because i recently bought a LSD myself.. and i'm wondering the same thing.. does it fit in to my stock pumpkin... one thing is the LSD that i bought looks different than the one you have on your picture.. i have bearings on the top and bottom of the unit.. so which one do i have? any help? thanks in advance...

I've tackled this corner before (pun)It depends on your current diff., if you have an open diff, you'd need the output flanges for the carrier to engage the "gear" If you already have an LSD and are just swapping out the carriers, then you dont need anything else. As far as I know, you also need to know how to set backlash....wouldnt want that new part to be out of alignment with the while differential now would you????
