lsd R200

I have a 79 280zx, Im assmuming my differential is a R200 i think.Now yesterday i was going about around 45 50 mph, and took a right trying to break it loose and i heard a pop. I stopped and looked at my diff nothing was broke on the outside. But when i drive a grinding and then a pop noise happens, if i turn left the noise goes away or is slightly less, if i turn right it is massively worse. Today i pulled the diff cover off and evrything seems to be turning and rotating right, but i can sence this rough spot while turning the axles. My first guess was spider gears but everything is there im guessing something is bent.

If anyone has had a similar problem or give me a good guess to what might be, if not im going to just weld the diff and see what happens.thanks phillip

solved it was a hub problem, Nevermind

I was gonna guess a driveshaft U joint issue, which if you have U jointed half shafts then you have the R180
