LSD Question

i have a 97 240sx basemodel which did not come with a LSD. if i want to put it in a 300zx N/A LSD, what other parts do i need besides the LSD itself? thanx

Out put shafts from a J30(95+ I believe) of from a VLSD 240sx. I believe both may have been disontinued so you would need to find them used. It may be cheaper to find a VLSD out of a 240sx or J30. The J30 has a taller rear gear though.

No, you do not need the output shafts. I have a 300z rear end in my car right now. To all you need to do is get the axles from a pre95 J30. I got all of my stuff for about $200. Hard to say exactly since the pumpkin came with the entire rear subfram(complete brakes, hubs, axles, struts etc.)
