LSD question please help!!!

I own a 1990 240sx and i wanna start drifting so my question is since my car didnt came with an LSD can i get an LSD fron a newer 240sx say 1991 and up, would it be a straight bolt on? im still new at 240sx.

just get your diff welded its anywhere from $50-60 depending on who it is welding it.

Welded works well for cheap. Other then that any aftermarket 2-way is going to require you to pull out the diff housing, take out the open diff, install the new diff, then be sure to shim it properly so the gears mesh prefect. If you dont shim it correctly then itll wear out the diff really quick, its best to have it installed by a professional once you get the housing out of the car.

VLSD's are just plain worthless IMHO so dont even bother
