LSD Question For S13

Hello,

I have a 93 240 w/out abs. I was looking to buy an LSD off a S14. Will I need the entire pumkin? or Can I just swap out the lsd itself? I have heard that the back plate is different due to the bolts is this correct?

What parts will I need in order to make the swap complete?

The back bolts are different and so are the front. In order to mak it work you will need to swap covers. You may have to source axles, you may not. Search. There are about a million threads on this. Especially at Fresh Alloy.

Try to find the whole pumpkin. You will need to swap the back plates. the front mounting places will work you just have to buy bigger bolts from a hardware store...no axles needed it's basically bolt on. Just give yourself 4-5 hours to do it and have a friend help that thing is heavy.

Hey I just swapped a S14 VLSD into my S13. What I did to make it work is switch the rear cover with your open diff rear cover. I ordered the two front mounting bolts, new front mouting bushings, washers on bottom, and some special washers for the top from my local nissan parts dealer. Everything mounted fllush and is secure. The install tooke me and a friend about 2-3hrs. we took a couple breaks. Hope this helps!!
