Alright I have a JDM 5 bolt VLSD from an S13 w/ABS. I want to install this into my S13 89' no abs. I have both output shaft's from the JDM diff but only 1 axle.-My Question is To install this diff can I use my OEM axle's and output shaft's?? Or If 1 JDM output shaft is longer, can I just use 1 jdm axle on that output shaft, and use my OEM axle and output shaft on the other side.Kinda Ghetto but can't find another axle for cheap??????????????

-Do I need to swap rear cover's?

-Can I use the stock driveshaft??

-There is mixed answer's on the last 2 so I'm looking for a clear answer?

Here is some info about installing and such.....I also have JDM 5 bolt axles and VLSD....As far asI know you can switch the output shafts from the open diff and use them with the LSD....I plan on using the 5 bolt axles since I have all pieces. I plan on using stock driveshaft....mine came from 180sx so there should be no difference in that area....*I wouldn't use two different axles....It just screams disaster*

OK. THanks. Are the 5 bolt axle's different side-side because I'm not sure which 1 I have so I guess I'll need to get another.

Not an authority on this by any means, but I believe the open diff output shafts wont work with the VLSD. I think the open diff shafts are the same length, but the VLSD are different lengths.
