lsd or not?

today i did a lil burnout in my 92 s13.4 today and saw that i had 2 tire marks goin down the street, i havnt touch or change the differental, is it possible that i have lsd on my car i always thought i didnt have lsd, or is there another reason for this

Mine does the same, however, if you turn the sterring wheel and try the same thing, you will most likely notice you have a peg legger...I could be worng though, maybe someone already has done the switch for you before you got the car, or perhaps you have a vlsd.

i watch youtube videos of ppl with non lsd on their 240s and only one wheel spins and thats going in a straight line too, why dont both there wheels spin

I f you research a little, you will find why I have great faith in this statement: Just because you have two stripes after a burnout, it does not mean you have a limited slip diffferential. It means you have an equal amount of grip on both sides of the car.

next time you do a burnout have some water on the road but only under one tire. if both spin you have an lsd. if not then its an open diff.

Jack up the rear of the car and spin the tire by hand, if the opposite tire spins the opposite way, open diff. If it spins the same way, LSD.

i have a j30 lsd and will this cause my speedo to be off i mean today i got a speeding warning for doing or says i was doing 15 over... if anything i was doing 5 over how much could this lsd cause me to be fof anyone ahve a similar problem

if it is an , it will have an orange sticker on the diff, located above the diff. fill plug that reads VLSD.

Not the LSD feature but a different gear ration used in the J30?

Either it is LSD or someone has welded the unit making permanent two-wheel drive. Place passenger rear wheel on a grease or soapy patch and gun the engine. If the driver’s side burns rubber, you have LSD.
