lsd, hard question

Can anyone tell me how much a lsd weighs, the pumpkin and all the internals, not the output shafts….not what you think I need to find a definite answer on this.Thanks:help

does anyone know how much the internals weigh then, like a nismo or kaaz or cusco lsd weight is?thanks for the other info

My HLSD said 17.2kg ~40lbs on the box. That was just the spool. When I took my diff off to swap the guts, the pumpkin, output shafts, internals, and oil weighed around 80-90 pounds. I'd say a clutch type diff would way about the same, if not a abit higher than my helical diff.

My open diff weighed in at 74 lbs with oil. I had a JDM S13 vlsd which weighed in at 73 lbs with oil & additive, and I also have a 180sx vlsd that I have yet to weigh. These numbers are all with internal and output shafts.

i'm curious, why do you need the exact weight of an LSD?
