LSD guts swap

Aloha! This is my first post here, and I apologize it's another LSD related question. I got an LSD from ebay, sans the pumpkin. It was just the diff itself from a s13 silvia. I guess the guy I bought it from installed an aftermarket LSD. Anyway, my question is this: If it's a s13 silvia LSD, will the 240 non LSD half shafts work, or what do I need to replace them with? Is there anything else that needs to be replaced? Sorry for being a newbie with so many questions but I seached high and low and found nothing pertaining to this question. i could be wrong...

Since your using the same 'pumkin', the same output shafts would work..its replacing the whole "pumpkin" that causes you to have to change the output shafts.

Im basing this on the fact that Kaaz diff's are just the guts, and can be used with the pumkin and output shafts from an open diff 240 application.

Nope. You need LSD output shafts.

Per some updated info it looks lke you can take the output shafts to a machinist and have them shaved to the same legth as the vlsd ones. Saves you the wait and the $$$$.
