i used 80w90 in mine too. for the transmission either AMS OIL or REDLINE, i hear theyre in big competition and ppl will kill to defend theirs beliefs. lol but i used REDLINE MT90 and got rid of my roughness in the third gear. dont use the MTF.

is there a link on how the hell to remove the s13 diff?? i took all the bolts out expecting it'll just lower down along with my jack but the axels are still holding it in place...any write ups on this matter?

you have to drop the driveshaft end that connects to the diff. then loosen all of the 6 bolts, make sure to hold the front of the diff since it will fall down. once you have the diff in your support. push the diff and 1 axle up and roll the diff side ways away from the axle and slide the axle end out of the output flange. then keep that axle held up and pull the diff towards that axle. then its out. :) its really a 2 person job because you risk the chance of it falling on your face or damaging the unit itself. your friends will have to help you or someone. be safe!! and GL you can do it. me and my buddy did it. with no jack..
