LSD CONFUSION

Hey guys first post on the forum, but been watchin and searchin alot on the forum, im having some confusion on the output shaft pattern of a stock lsd 240sx. I have searched and havent really found a clear answer.

If anyone can tell me what the output shaft bolt pattern to the a s14 240sx it would be much appreciated

you need the output shafts from an lsd with the 6bolt patter(2-2-2). they look just like the stock output shafts on the open differential but the inside is different.

so a stock s14 lsd diff should have the 2x2x2 pattern on them?

does the same go for a s13?also is there anything that would need to be changed beside the cover to put a s13 diff into a s14

S13 and S14 have same output shaft pattern. The only difference is the rear cover and they can be swapped.

Wrong. They have different mount points at the front of the differential. One uses large bushings and the other is direct mounted to the subframe. Other than that you are correct.
