So I'm waiting on new limited slip to come in the mail and have everything figured out but one thing, where to break it in. I'm just afraid of getting slapped with a reckless driving ticket, for doing figure 8's in a Parking lot. Not spinning tires or anything, just the normal break in suggested by the manual, in a parking lot after hours with no other cars or people around.

Am I being paranoid, would bringing the manual with me and highlighting that section help me?

I'd think so. I'm sure if you're not driving recklessly, the cops won't even hassle you, but bring the manual with you just in case.

LSD is a Schedule 1 controlled susbstance, I can't imagine any law enforcement being ok with...oh, wait...

I imagine if you're not just tear-a$$ing around some parking lot at 3AM and keeping everyone awake that you shouldn't have any problems. Having some product documentation along for the ride is a good call though.*

I've got a friend who's uncle was a contractor and got access to a new subdivision when the time came to break in a new Kaaz 2-way...some people have all the luck. :yesnod

*Don't email me for bail if this isn't the case. ;)

Do what you need to do, don't be an a$$ and if the police do come just joke around with them and tell them what you are doing. As long as you are friendly they will be friendly. Also parking lots are private property, so you could also ask your local supermarket for permission; and then they can't do anything.

if your city has an industrial area i suggest an area there, far way from residential areas at late night.

Haha, I see my acronym got spelled out. I was thinking about talking to the local grocery store about going there after hours in the side lot no one goes in. I shop there all the time at least. A lot of the industrial areas are open 24 hours though, but they do have some huge parking lots.

I could get a repair order made up, wear my work uniform and say I'm diagnosing a steering noise... at 11pm.
