LS2 swapped into S13...

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

Anyone done it? I've seen several LS1's but never any LS2's.

I would think the aluminum block would be preferred over the LS1 but then again I haven't done a price comparison.

The LS2/LS7/etc. is the GEN IV, the LS1/LS6 is GEN III. Very similar designs, just small, mostly internal differences.

Both are aluminum blocks and the LS2 is generally more expensive than the LS1/LS6 and that is most likely the only reason you don't see it as often. The extra 18 cubic inches just simply isn't worth the extra money when you can easily modify the smaller of the two to make plenty of power.

Google "an sx with an LS2 heart" and you will see one of the cooler overall swaps out there. The guy has video of himself racing a z06 amongst other cars. Very cool swap.

They are similar engines, and the LS2 is more expensive, but it does have a base HP of 405 with more low end power than the LS1 or LS6.
