I have a dieing coilpack and considering all my ls2 coils are the same age I was considering a new set.

A friend suggested anything besides OEM will not be as good.

ANY reason these coils http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=171268063093 would perform worse than the ac delco's?

Thanks for any replies

Looks like a different plug for the wire harness. Also I like the heat sink on top feature. I spent all my money to register my car with hella back fees so I can't purchase a new set yet. I will keep looking but I will definitely consider these.

I ordered a set of 6 brand new acdelco coils for peace of mind they were $200 so hope to have it running right.

I currently have the positive wire suggested to get 12v power from an external relay wired into the positive wire from the ecu (how oem coils would get power)

Is that more for 100% certainty that they receive full voltage only? Seems to run fine but considering I always have a cut I was just going to wire up the wire to a relay to be sure.

^^^He doesn't have an igniter..
Tim, when I did my coil conversion, matt (darius) also told me to upgrade the 12 volt power wire and ground as these coils draw more power than the stock ones.. The wiring is easy. Just Google it and make sure u have the correct coils as the diagram. If I remember right one of the wires are switch on the ls and ls2 coils...

It's done and correct thand you tho. All the wiring info is on this forum I just simply didn't have a relay or connectors available when I wired my coils. It makes sense they draw more power so I have the power sourced thru a relay and use the stock 12v as the signal. matt at Nistune looked over my tune gave me advice. Just waiting 9n the coilpacks to arrive so I can see if my cars all good.
