LS14 is running...

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

I finally took her for a test drive Friday night after a 13 hour day of work. It went from jack stands, no clutch, no coolant, wheels off, front end off, no driveshaft bolts, no battery tray, interior a mess, electric fans not working, no exhaust to fully functional in one day. Will try to get video for audio sake. It has long tube stainless headers to a Y-merge to the Apex'i GT Spec (entire exhaust is stainless) and I think it sounds AMAZING.

Updated pics...

You put those wheels on just for me didn't you...awww

Looks perfect, and the rarity of the med. blue matched to a traitor'd kouki front actually looks amazing. Get video! Those wheels still make me hot and bothered...

That thing is evil. Pure evil. It steals kids' candy, makes fun of the disabled, and feeds ex-lax to the neighbor's dog...

In short, it's AWESOME!!! Excellent work!

Quiet...you know you love the Kouki monster front end. Now that you don't own an S14, you have no need to be loyal to the Zenki.

Glass projector or plastic? Hmmm.... But seriously, you know I have love for both.

Thank you! You can all expect video this week. Just need to get an air filter on it (been driving w/out one...too much temptation not to), fix PS leak, and well, that's about it.

Thanks, I will have to get some video this week (weather permitting) because I LOVE the sound.

Color is Mediterranean Blue...factory color on the 240 in 96 only. :D

I should be putting my engine in about 2 months long as I don't hit anymore financial bumps.

Your car is what I'm striving to try and make mine look like.

I'll probably have a few questions for you when I get started so be expecting me

Chris, nicely done my man. We need to have an Indy meet again so you and Dastoor and everyone else I haven't seen in a coon's age can all get together again and we can drool over your bastard-child 570SX.

One thing I want to know is do you plan to eventually beat Hal in that bad boy?

What will you do with a beast like that? Autocross? Roadrace? Drag? Drift? It would be interesting to see what people plan on doing with this swap

Dastoor is back in whipped mode w/ his new fiancee so he doesn't even answer the phone. He's gone Eurotrash on us...leasing a BMW.

No, Hal is not within reach. I'm not shooting for that because I want to drive this on the street regularly. Maybe someday, if I turn it into an all out drag car, I'll try and chase him down. All I know is I rode in his Lexus a couple weeks back and it was pretty scary. He's putting down at least double what I am to the wheels.

Is there a decent meet in Indy coming up soon? I might be comfortable enough with the car by then to make that drive.

I'm trying not to dedicate it to one particular form of racing just yet (and may never). I wanted to build an all-around nice driver that is flexible enough to do anything.

Im planning on putting a kaaz 2 way LSD on m s14 and was wondering if i should just hold off till im certain im doing this swap.

Thanks.

Not at all. Driveshaft will be custom, but there's no need to do anything to the diff. I do recommend new aluminum or Nismo diff bushings to reduce wheel hop.

Dude that sounds awesome. I think it sounds alot better then any LS1 I have ever heard. Nice solid deep tone!!!! I always wondered what a good quality import exhaust would sound like on a V8.

Makes me wonder what my Nur Spec would sound like UUMMMM

Another question for you, since your the only one who posted an LS powered 14. Do you have any pictures of your build up. Not necessarily (sp) the build but the custom parts you put in and parts your cut out. Mainly the engine bay work.
