Hey everyone, buddy of mine introduced me to this site, and my name is Matt. I love non-crazy women (if there is such a thing ) takin piktars and throwing money away!

Last year i bought a 93 black hatch with stance gr + coils and a perfectly driving ka

long story short, dont rally your car while drunk as hell

swapped in a redtop after the ka was toast (while draining oil, i only got 3 drops out of her before she went dry lol), and beat on that for awhile before trading for a 93 coupe with a fresh ka as well.

here are some pics of the trade night and my old sr20

last pic is how the new car sits now minus spoiler and antenna

so, as a current on-car part list, here it is-stance gr plus coils-s14 seats-xxr 501 16x8 +15-relocated battery

WAS going ka-t with the other motor from the hatch and then said

TO HELL WITH IT!

lol

Picked up a LS1 block, heads, intake, maf, rocker arms, springs, pushrods, cam, pistons and rods, crank, throttle body, and the like up for cheap!!

Will update very soon with pics and new goodies picked up within the future. Another project between my buddy and I is to find a 240sx/ RX7 shell to beat the f out of, so hook us up!

Welcome dude.

Check out the Hybrids section for some good tips, or if you ever get in a bind.

Nice to have you here.

HOPEFULLY there wont be any big surprise headaches...only money ones

we know a guy that has built mazda race cars and performance vettes from the ground up and is a superb fabricator; and he has confirmed motor/ transmission mounts and a driveshaft are cake to him

so we shall see..

thanks for the tip on the hybrid section as well, i will check that out now. and that risky devil...on the local forum i'm on, he might as well be a super hero! that is probably the sole reason for me wanting to do this swap!!!

Do work son!

Get your LS1 out of my garage before I yank the SR and put the motor in my car.
