lol why are they fighting words? its true. when you can get 500rwhp N/A out of a stock bottom end Ls1 and 750+ rwhp with boost. dont even talk about a forged bottom end... the sky's the limit. but i definitely respect the rb26 its a great motor and sounds amazing for an import. there is just no replacement for displacement.

You can only pull 600whp out of a stock bottom end lsx, where as the rb is....900whp?

and about the f-body's 10 bolt, it's a effing joke, stock hp can blow those rear ends... luckily they make 12 bolts

the majority of parts I have replaced thus far (on my RB25) and am gathering for my rebuild have been sourced from USDM Nissan vehicles.

300zx NA, TT, etc. Not to mention parts from early model Sentras, and CA18 motors.

cross referencing FTW.

granted, I don't want to start a RB vs LS1 debate (or add to an existing one for that matter), the LS1 is an awesome motor given it's weight, typical gas mileage, aftermarket support, and availability here in the US, but the RB is a beast in itself. I like the LS1 motor, and am even trying to convince one of my friends to look into an LS1/T56 swap into an S13 when he gets back from Iraq, but he is steering more towards an RB26.

id need to put $5000 at the very least into it to get it to run with a stock c5 z06 on a road course which is why i originally built this car. it would still probably look kinda s***ty like it does now, and i already get profiled enough by cops in this thing.... wish i could keep it but i dont have the $$$ or time to play around with this. i've decided to finance a c5 z06 and their already beasts on the track stock and actually pretty cheap right now. thank u all for ur help and support while building this thing. the price is cheap as hell and i spent $10,000 total building this thing, SO BUY IT!!!

I can't wait till I get to do this to my coupe. Are you guys doing any kind of frame bracing or any kind of reinforcing to handle the torque?

i'm only doing a cage. A 240 chassis can handle the power. Make sure you have plenty saved for this project. You can do a carbed 350 swap for under 1k. It's hard to find a t56 for less than that tho. Haha
