The exterior will stay the same. We are going to re-shoot the hood and one of the front fenders due to the paint not being exactly perfect. I also finally have all the OEM turn signal lenses and JDM fog lights to go back in the front. I may tint the windows but I haven't decided yet.

The car will be lowered more than what it was in the pics. This car rode extremely rough when I got it but I thought it was due to being really slammed and really stiff spring rates. After taking the front end apart I found that one of the CUSCO coil-overs is frozen in the compressed position so I was essentially riding on a solid suspension.

I have 2 months to get the car put back together. We are planning on taking it on the Hot Rod Power Tour. That should get some interesting looks and comments

Hey man, just wondering if you still have that LS1 and whatnot lying around still or have you already sold it?...still interested in it.

I have the LS1, the exhaust system and the harness available. The motor will have the water pump and be complete from intake to pan but will have a truck pan on it as I had to swap the pan out with my new motor. I'll take $1200 for the motor. The exhaust system is rough that the previous owner built but if you want it you can have it. Not sure how the exhaust could be shipped though. The motor we can arrange.

Well I was super busy trying to make the deadline for the Hot Rod Power Tour and didn't have any time to post updates. I really didn't have much time to take pictures actually so there is a lot of the final assembly that is missing. I should have more pics up by next week I hope. We ended up not making the Power Tour due to a manufacturers defect in my radiator which was causing the motor to run hot. Hopefully I will get a new radiator by Friday. We did drive the car a little and man this thing is scary fast with 530hp on tap. When that 400 lb/ft of torque comes on at 2000rpm its amazing! In second gear it will get sideways with you at 3500rpm. This thing is going to be lots of fun. Anyhow here are some updated photos.

Radiator core support removed. New motor sitting on engine stand.

Drive by wire gas pedal and mount.

New radiator support test fitted.

Empty engine bay. Lots of work still to do.

Cut firewall done by previous owner. Will be repaired before painting.

Motor in its final position and mounted.

Front accessory drive finalized. Truck crank pulley, truck A/C crompressor, GTO water pump spaced 1 1/2 inches from block, Corvette tensioner pulley, Camaro power steering pump and bracket spaced 3/4" from heads, Camaro alternator bracket with 160 amp truck alternator spaced 3/4" from block.

Passenger engine mount.

Driver engine mount.

Rust removal.

More rust removal.

Finally in primer, unnecessary holes welded up.

First coat of color.

If anyone is looking for help installing an LS engine in a S13 or S14 feel free to give me a call. We can do complete or partial builds.

My radiator didn't show up today so I have my fingers crossed that it will be in tomorrow. Then I can put up some completed photos and maybe a vid or two. Once we get her broken in I will post up some 1/4 mile times too.

Thanks for all props!

very nice car you have there. no one would ever expect that thing to have a ls1 under the hood at a stop light. i love the way it looks. very stock clean styling. A+++++ and props for not half asssing it either.

I was moving this weekend so no updates. I did get the radiator in but had to modify my custom fan shroud since the new radiator is slightly different. I should have it up and running this afternoon.

I will check and find out where I got the carpet. It is pretty nice stuff.

Whats the deal with that stripped out Grand National? Does it have any rust? Sorry for the hijack but the body on mine has gone to hell.

all I can say is WOW

this is probly the cleanest s14 Ive ever seen, just dont like the seats if i where you i would go with some nice brides or sparcos

also love the engine, for some reason i think a 300hp v8 in a 240 is better then a 500+ hp rb26 or 2jz

We got the new radiator in and got the front end aligned. Man this thing is a beast!!! I can say that the Q45 differential made all the difference. This thing hooks and drives better with the 530hp L92 than it did with the 350hp LS1 that was originally in it. It is scary fast. I ran it up to about 5000rpm in 4th and got out of it since I didn't have the seatbelts bolted down. I still have 5th and 6th to explore LOL. We are going to do a little more driving and make sure everything is good to go and then hopefully take it to the track to see what it will do in the 1/4 mile. It should be good for mid to low 11s on street tires.

We do have an extra body here if you are interested. It is in pretty good shape. It was hit on the front and the frame was toast. The fire wall is crinkled a little bit but its fixable. It has no rust and is really solid. Its a T-Top car too. I think its an 85 body but there are no VINs and we have no title. Its only good for a body replacement like yours. Email me your number is your interested.

And even better than that is the 530hp engine thats in the car now LOL. I took out the 350hp LS1. A couple pages back should have the dyno sheet on this motor. It makes 400 lb/ft of torquet at 2000 rpm
