LS1 S13 guys: where did you put your ECU?

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

I haven't been able to find a good place yet. Any suggestions?

Yeah mine is where the stock one was, and found a nice ODBII port at the scrap yard and use that for my Hyperpac.

Right now I think I'm going to put mine under the passenger seat. I don't have the seat in the car or even at the same house so I don't know for sure if it will fit right now, so if someone has tried and it won't let me know.

I think you emailed me, why are you not removing the Nissan ECU? My S13 was also auto and it was pulled with the KA motorset.

I am removing it. For some reason I was thinking I needed it for something, but when I looked over the pinout and wiring diagrams again I realized I don't need it. The only reason I don't want to put the LS1 ECU where the Nissan ECU was is because I don't think the kick panel will fit over the LS1 ECU. And I don't want to not have it.

It will fit, just may have to trim some of the rear excess plastic.
