Also thinking about putting the S15 conversion on it as well.. I think it'll go nicely.

Sweet Kouki, how much did you get it for? Good luck with the LS7 swap, just go with an LS1 and save yourself a financial headache.

That kouki does have its share of issues. The brakes are completely shot, the auto trans is in dire need of an overhaul, but it will have to settle for a flush and filter. There's rust on a poorly fixed rear quarter panel, as well as some undercarriage rust.

All in all, it's a good project car as it will be totally stripped down anyways, so the little problems aren't going to be so far off the projected plan path anyways.

4500, but they just couldn't sell it.. so they dropped it down to 3200, and I scooped it up.

To make it drivable, it's going to have all the fluids changed along with the brakes. But, the swap and stuff isn't going to happen until I have a heated garage to do it all in.

So how are you doing the dry sump for the LS7? Seems like a nice ls3 with new heads and a cam would be more than enough power and you could rev the piss out of it. Now I'm just being devils advocate here, but if I were throwing money at this car, I wouldn't be putting an LS7 in it. Even the most skilled fabricators don't use that motor, not because it can't be done, but because it's not worth it

I am very pro LS swap for the 240 as I have one but I have to agree with the other folks about not using an LS7. I mean yeah you would get the bragging rights of saying you have a LS7 under the hood but other than that the dry sump system just adds cost to the setup and takes up valuable space under the hood. I will be pulling the LS1 out of my car soon and dropping in a 530hp L92 motor that with cam, tune, ecm, accessories, and wiring harness only set me back $6000. That would be less than half what a LS7 would cost you and it makes more power and revs to 6800rpm.Now if you are determined to do the LS7 I won't knock you as it would be bad *** I just think you could spend your money more wisely on a different power plant.
