ls hardbody??

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

Just wondering, has anyone put an ls motor in a hardbody yet? I havent seen any, if so could someone put a link to it or tell me where to see it.. I can get a 5.3 and trans w complete ecu for 800 with low mileage. just wondering how much trouble it would be.

I'd think it would fit, I've seem small blocks in 620's

and the 5.3 you found I'm guessing is an LQ and not an LS?

Yea i got the lm7 and lm4 backwards, point was he has a lm4 or lm7 (5.3) and not a Lq motor(6ltr).They are all in the ls family and parts enterchange.

There's also a sticky at the top of this forum that explains the majority of the LSx family (including LM, LQ, etc.).

"Which LSX pullout to use?...."
