i am new to the forum, i have an 1992 s13 hatch and i want to lower it on Tein S tech springs and kyb struts, do i need to buy rucas for a 1.2 in drop in the rear and what would i need to fix the camber for the 1.5 in the front or could i get away with fixing the camber with the stock adjustment.

let me know thanks

Buying adjustable rear upper control arms will not be needed until you start messing around with camber, toe, and caster settings. I will digress to say, purchasing and installing new adjustable arms will be benefical for later if and when you decide to drop the car more.

For now...replacing old and worn out bushings would be more benefical.

Unless you purchased adjustable front plates along with your kyb struts, you really can not adjust the camber in the front.

Considering how much you are dropping the front and rear, sticking to as close to stock setting as possible is your best bet.

i lowered mine with tein s techs and kyb struts it rides very good i did add the nismo power brace and wicked adjustable tension rods after words.the car (90 240 hatch) handles great and is very predictable in corners.my next step is the energy suspension bushing kit

sorry for being a d!ck earlier. i didn't even make sense. lol

what are you aiming to do with your car? i asked for some opinions on a coilover setup a little while ago. i stated what my intentions were and what kind of road condition i was up against. even though i asked, i kind of already had made my mind up, but there were a couple decent ideas.$ is the big factor, as always.i went with the greddy type s coilovers for my 180. it's not too haneous, but everything's a quick adjustment away. i'm still fine-tuning to get my car to work best for me, but even on the most effed up combination of height, camber and dampener, it would still ride better than my lame lowering springs+shocks.

i added cusco sway bars and replaced some old bushings, and it feels purdy good. oh, and i got some federals on the fronts, and that's nice too.

Mostly just a dd with a quick run thru the canyon every now and then. I was asking bc my wife used to have an eclipse with coilovers... a very cheap set, I think they were 80 for the whole set and they rode like crap. I was wanting to make sure that there were coilovers that rode good. I'm not looking for minivan smooth but I don't want to get a headache before I get to work.

i too dont want a headache, but i cant afford coilovers. someone mentioned on a different topic before about using eibach springs with monroe senstrac struts, and the result was a pretty comfortable ride that handled better (but not super awsome) than stock when it came to cornering. anybody got an opinion on that?
