well when i sat in my friend's s14 i felt so low and comfy compared to the ****ty s13 ones.. and the pedals felt nicer but thats another story...

My plan was/is to get s14 seats... mine are busted and my friend said he is getting s14 seats and that ill be able to have his s13 (well they are slighlty better than mine)... however despite all that, I wonder... what are the lowest seats one can get.

I sat in some after market ones and i thought they MAJORLY sucked ***... the side supports were too tight for my size... I'm not a tiny oriental guy... and I'm 6'1... but height wise I think the s13 seats are 'too high'... so help me out here

Check out http://www.ioportracing.com/ Im local to there shop/office and they got some very nice stuff in stock. The alumium seats are real nice. At first I thought they would be too hard but it was real comfortable to the point I could fall asleep. Im almost 6" and 200lbs about 32-34 waist and the size 15 was a nice proper fit to me. snug on the legs, little space on the rib support and straps are about 1" above my shoulders. Make sure when you get seats= Get the 5 point harness and be sure the seats have the hole for the bottom 5th strap. As for the harness make sure it is as straight as possible when going through the hole and being bent . Had a big long talk with a very knowledgable person about all this saftey stuff.

Dawg, refrain from using the word "oriental" when talking about Asian people.

Lowest seat is gonna be a bucket seat mounted straight to the floor with no rails (seat is fixed in position). SPL's bucket seat's are very nice.

nah lol no offense intended, 90% of my friends are asian and african and my wife is east african I'm a diverse guy :P It's just true, JDM seats are so tiny

I sat in r33 seats and didn't like them... felt too tight. I'm a fairly big guy... I am not fat but just wide.

S14 seats felt perfect.. but more support would be nicer...

I sat in a bunch of aftermarket ones and hated them, they were so high off the ground...

I want reclinable seats on rails basically... My car has to host my wifey in the passenger seat.

Definetely want 5 point harness though.

Try having yours made in a shop to answer your concerns on being too tight and high for your size.
