The eibachs are like 1.4-1 and racing line is like 1.75 - .65 or something funny like thatSEismyG wrote:Eibach, I have them and hardly scrape. It's only when I hit a bump too fast or I don't angle myself correctly over the big one's that I scrape. Tein's I've read drops lower than Eibachs, and Racingline also goes pretty low. Best bet = Eibachs, just go into the bumps and driveways slowly
beeristasty wrote:It's all subjective - depends on the speed bump / driveway. I've seen speed bumps 9-10 inches off the ground and driveways that will scrape at factory height.
You're less likely to scrape on Eibach's, but I'd recommend Tein's or RacingLine's to level out the rake.
really? cuz im looking at the ride height and i swear to god its so f*** high up, Im worried that the Eibach wouldnt be LOW enough... but now that youre saying it will im just so like omg confused -.- i need picture references from all 3 makers : /SEismyG wrote:Eibach FTW!!!Scrape is bad btw, especially if you have an exhaust or in your case the lip. You have to be EXTRA careful going into bumps and driveways. I have the stock front and can hardly clear those stupid apartment/grocery speed bumps without going so slow I stop traffic...the handling improvement and majority gap elimination is worth it though. Your choice bro, that's just my .02

Thanks, they are 18" Konig Illusions, they come in red, blue, and silver electro luminescent paint, but not white. When the car is moving the wheels look blue and at night downtown they are amazing. I believe they come in 19" now.Innovazn wrote:mmkeller wrote:All you have to do is scout out parking lots, parking garages, and certain malls that have steep grades and speed bumps. It wasn't level on my sedan when I had them (on coilovers now). Hearing the Eibachs are more level on the coupe makes sense since the front/rear weight distribution is closer to even on the sedan vs. the coupe.rcboy514 wrote:it means the slant of the car.....basically the front being higher than the rear or rear being higher than the front.
although I'm on eibachs and the car seems perfectly level.....is your's not level beeristasty?
Installing the rear Eibachs will actually give you a little bit more clearance at the front overhang, where you're more likely to scrape.Mr.HacKeR wrote: if you want to lower the car with the minimum chance of scraping then get the Eibach springs, PERIOD!
if you're really worried then you can do as I did, install the front Eibach's only, leave the OEM springs @ the back.
