so i have to get suspension cuz of a pothole... so i slam the hell out of my versa as low as possible.... whatever means.... but i want it to be the smoothest ride ever too.... so 2 questions... (1) what coilovers will put me "on the ground" and (2) which ones will make it ride "as smooth as a caddillac"?

I am also interested in getting coilovers. I'm not sure how many people have them on their versa but I know blind has some.

Dude a lowered car is a hard ride. If you want a smooth ride stay stock. No coils make your car ride "as smooth as a caddillac" quite the opposite.

You can't have your cake and eat it too.

A lowered vehicle simply doesn't have the necessary travel distance to absorb road imperfections.

1. do some research, email some companies. when i did this most of them said up to a 4" drop. that accurate for the front, but with ksport the rear will only go about 3" (with adjustment ring removed).

2. either get a caddy, or man up!

this is as low as the rear will go, and the front will go about 2" lower...it will be lower than this, front and rear within the next few months though.

Did you ksports come with instructions? Is it the same for installing the fronts as the lowering springs?

^^^no lie!
are you lower than my pic?
i have some plans for march when there is no threat of snow for a while. i will be about 1.5" lower in the rear and about 2" lower in the front from that pic. (i have it at stock height now because of snow  )
i will feel comfortable calling it the lowest V in the nation after that......

Look for coilovers with independent pre-load and height adjustment. Low as you can go, but still maintain shock travel for a smooth ride.
