205/40-16... ok...a bit small, no?

Rule #1

Lower your car first, then decide what fits on your car. Find wheels/tires that fit the car's ride height, not a car that fits your wheels/tires. It's much easier that way, if you think about it.

Most people will probably suggest Eibach prokit for a mild drop, sportline for a bigger drop. Over a period of time, springs will settle slightly. I'd say do some research and some looking around at other people's rides and find out what they use.

i have 16" wheels with 205/55, because i knew it would look funky if i put a small sidewall tire on there. I have the Pro-kit and it is a very mild drop, at first you might not even be able to tell a difference in height, but after a while they will settle like SmithSR said. just choose a spring with what drop you want, and if youre still not satisfied, get a larger tire. I'd think you'd want to go with sportlines, or maybe even Teins?

how abour running a 205-55-16 or 225-50-16, since those are the correct sizes for the car, and check the FAQ for spring lowering rates, dude. You obviously didnt even check that, so i'm locking this. Please check the FAQ and do some research first, and you DEFINATELY didnt check the "attention" sticky.
