Hey evrybody, new to the club & new to being a Q owner, just purchased a nice set of 18" 2003 G35 wheels & mounted a new set of ahtsu 225/45/18 by falcen in europe they are new to the market here in Vancouver.
Wow what a difference in the car but now I want to improve some more on the handling and the slightly larger than i like wheel well gap. Can anyone help with direction on where I can find a quality set of 2" lowering coils for 97 Q45t.
Any help on this & other performance parts would be greatly appreciated, there is litterally no source for performance parts or any aftermarket parts for the q's here

Thanks, zister

About the only way you can get the espilir springs for Y33s is to get them from Japan, unless someone here has an extra set stateside. I know BCC93QT often times has containers come over stateside with that stuff. I'd replace the struts with some KYB SR special's as well while you're there, your struts are probably shot anyway...

Welcome to NICO!!!!!

thanks for the info & the welcome. Who in Japan do i contact & who is BCC93QT.
iwas thinking about the KYB but the sruts in this car are still good, the original owner was my bosses wife whon only grocery ran & kids to & from school and of course other little things but very easy 200 K's. Is it recommended to upgrade the struts for this

BCC93QT is a forum member here, send him a PM and see if he has any ability to get the springs for you.

Many times when you remove the springs, it's possible to blow the shocks out.. I would *highly* recommend replacing them at the same time. Besides, the espilir springs are a bit stiffer and you want the appropriate strut to go with it. If your car has 200k, the struts are *definitely* not "good" anymore... Most suspension stuff wears out with age, not mileage..

Feel free to PM me and i will give you my email. I have become very strict on importing things for individuals over the internet or people I do not know regularly. I have been stuck with multiple parts/packages without payment. I can obtain anything in Japan from Plants/trees, swords, car parts, alcohol, A - Z and beyond ETC. I have an assortment of rare Japanese Maple, Elm, & Cherry saplings I do include at no cost in all purchases!

Am looking to put together an order of a few espelirs springs and maybe a kamikaze setup for the G50's. You might be better off getting an entire tien suspension setup rather than just springs for your model
