im looking for some lowering springs..i see alomost everyone has eibach's i have an 08 2.5 and not really sure what to get. I just saw tein is making a kit but not really sure when its going to be available?! i dont think h&r are really what i want they are more and now as low as eibachs. I am currently running 235 45 20's any advice would help me out. Coilovers are probably too much for me right now i would like to have them but just not practical. My other question was i saw on eibach website they have alignment kits for the rear and front are those needed?

I'm not a genious with MODS what so ever, but I have been spending A LOT of time doing some research on lowering kits. I am going to lower my 09 2.5 A/C whenever I get back from the desert. I honestly have read negative feedback about Ebach, but the only thing I heard negative about coilovers is the price. BC Racing Coilover $1,ooo. It is an expensive hobby, but if you ask me I rather do it right and get top line mods, than redoing it later after an unfortunate mishap.

2 each is their own though... if you do go with Ebach post pics! cause these next 2 months for me cant go quick enough for me to get home to my ride to mod it out :)

goodluck :ohno:

there is 2 seperate post with Eibachs snapping...either it be improperly installed or jus a bunk defect.. most people have no probs with them

but i rather pay the extra $ on coils and have a safe suspension than risk ANY negatives..thats just me but im a sissy when it comes to risking stuff on my car :P

wwwoooowwww haha thats not good...what about shocks for out cars? mine are already worn out nissan wouldnt replace them cause they said my over sized rims cause them to wear out so im in need of shocks too..i think ill do a eibach or the teins first if i dont like them i'll sell them and go with the coils i'll prob end up trading the car in later down the road anyway

every1 brags n boast about BC's but i was talkin to one of the guys on here on facebook and he said coilovers + 20s wont be a noticable difference and suggest to me on going with Eibachs and 20s.. so im debating on what would be the better ride.. and NOT sacrifice looks

20s + Eibachs OR 18-19s + BC Coils.. hmm might be a choice of personal opinion, but now I am in the same boat as you...

AHHHH STOKESJ WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!?!?!!

dude i dont know honestly im probably going to be trading my car in anyway i have dirtbikes and soon a boat its hard to tow that s*** with my car so im probably getting a truck here in a few months i dont know that..i think the best option for you is go with 19's 20"s are horrible ride and the biggest you can go is like a 255 35 20 40's are too big and rub get 19's and the coilovers thats what i would do if i had 19's i may try to sell my 20's which suck because they are brand new less than 80 miles on them i just cant find 19's around town that are not all chromed out. I think im going to get the eibachs for now and see how they ride i'll order them tonight and install as soon as i can two weeks im pickin up a stillen fascia already painted up so i'll get the pics and the install all posted up. I'll go coils if i had 19's i really regret getting 20's

hmm much appreciated on the advice.. im looking on the web for some dope a** 19s to get but no idea where to look for some sexy Matte Black rims. I fell in love with the Vossen's but they arnt applicable to our car. So, I am on the prowl for some 19s and how far will the coils lower the car cuz the eibachs lower it like 1.7? if im not mistaken..

i think ima do suspension and rims 1st..then tail lights, head lights, and grill.. then do exhaust.. THEN after that ill do body work.. expensive hobby but i have around $4K to throw around when i get back from iraq.. jus too many damn decisions and to much to think about lol ><

id do the wheels and coils first what about the moda's? or the g37's painted black? konig troubles? dude you should do gold wheels like loops haha its sick..Ya stay away from 20's id even say 18's but i think 18's are kinda small 20's look good but the ride is s*** everywhere i go its rough as hell never a smooth ride alittle better now that i bought brand new wheels but i almost wish at times i just had stock wheels haha

im not sure how much i wouldnt think any more than 20's my toyos were like 130 per tire or around there if you have them money dude id throw it on coils they are so adjustable you can raise or lower it. And you know the ride will be beter than eibachs i just wish i had the cash right now my car goes in to nissan tomorrow so they can look at it and explain to me how my wheels wore my shocks out wheni have 33k miles on my car..we will see what happens. If i was you and had the money do it right get the coils and 19's or even 20's i talked to a guy and said the coils stiffen the ride but in a good way. right now in my car i cant take a turn on the freeway on ramp over 70 without the rear wobbling out or it being so bouncy.

yeah i am pretty set on the rims that i am going to get. I am looking at some Lexani LX 12 (Black & Machined), 20x8.5 with some Toyo Proxes 4 245/35ZR 20 tires. Don't know what offset to get though. Yeah, I am going with BC Racing Coilovers. I figured with rims and tires at like $2400 + $1000 coils. Maybe like $3500 out the door with installation?? Who knows. Wish I had a place to install the coils myself. Anyways man, good luck and keep us posted with wtf the Stealership decides to do on your car :\
