have you tried hitting the bump at a diagonal? it helps a little if you're going over bumps with your car lowered. I don't know what else to say about lowered cars. just the way the game is played i guess

Is it my imagination or have they gone up in price? For some reason I thought they were 160-ish.

How much of a reduction in body roll and increase in handling do you get from the Tanabe's?

Has anyone tried the pricier shock & strut kit that can weigh in on that?

I just ordered my springs and will be getting them this monday, but I just realized something that probably is normal, but I myself have never lowered a car.

Why is the front 1.4 and the back 1.5 wouldnt that look a little off??Also, a buddy of mine recommended that I should replace the stock shocks and struts when i do the drop...is this something really important or something that i can holf off on for another six months?

Thanks in advance...Keep it reals!

From the factory the back is a little higher, the .1 inch difference in drop won't matter though.

Currently there are no aftermarket shocks for Versa, so you can't upgrade them. But everyone so far hasn't had an issue with OEM shocks on lowering springs.

I can tell you this though...after you lower your car you can not drive it like you used to. I used to go over the local train tracks doing about 50 or so and no problem whereas with my springs I nearly got hurt from doing it...lesson learned! Over bumps and stuff you will need to go slower it's just a learning curve. At least this has been my experience with them, then again I also put 18" rims on my car so I can't really say wether the rough ride was due to the rims or the springs...probably a little of both.

a little more of the 18's with the thinner tires....there is a bit of a learning curve to both.....your car will let you know if you are taking something too fast

did you order your springs from versaspeed? if you did, i seen them when i met up with Bob the other day.... the springs maintain a stock ride feel, just lowered.... i personally think lowering your car makes you a better driver because of the simple fact that you are always on the look out for potholes and cracks.... so pay attention.... oh yeah and the install is very easy, the hardest part is taking the top bolt off of the strut its self.... hope you have an impact wrench.... it will make you life a whole lot easier....

about prices going up, yes it sucks, i think it's just the economy. I heard someone saying that just about everything is going up. so it's not just gas, but everything.

No I wish it was because they are popular but because they are from Japan and shipping went up AND our dollar is dropping against the yen they went up in price BUT I did get a little better deal since then but it still sucks.

Damn, I should've picked up a set back then. Hey Bob, I live and work (Nissan's ad agency) 10 min from your office. Any chance you might carry a easy to install fog light kit for the S? something that's a bit better than the ebay ones? and what's the deal with the CNC'd Tiida brace on your site?
