The ride quality with coil-overs is definately worth the extra money.

Wow...year old thread...

As far as I know when I was doing my research on Lowering Springs...there is no problem with stock struts.

For lowering, coilovers is the way to go but they are very expensive. In my search I liked the Hotchkis lowering sport springs....because for my taste they do not lower to the extreme & using my stock struts.Front: 9/16" (15mm drop)Rear: 3/4" (19mm drop)

And I was going to go with SPC rear camber kit 72050 to make sure toe is in spec. I also found some good pricing on these items.

Good Luck!

Please posts a pic of your entire car. I've been thinking about getting the eibach sportlines myself. Also tell me about the difference in your ride before stock. Is the ride extra rough, tolerable, or not much different than stock? For the money this sounds like the best option for us who can't afford coils...

That is no joke! Some guys have cut their rear spring mounts for lowering.

Alot of those dsms and civics do that here as a "budget" wise mod. Not exactly the greatest thing to do seeing as that its totally unsafe and its does not really affect performance.

bouncing could get fun as hell with a a girl on the right though.
