So far i found that the eibach sportline is the lowest BUT is the performance good with 2.2" drop on the front and 2.1" on the rear? What's the best lowering springs that will give me the looks and the performance?

thanks to those who reply

Not from what I've heard. I didn't even bother installing them and I have a set.

If you want *really* low, you have to go with coilovers.

There is NOT a spring out there that is stiff enough for a really low drop.

As far as spring rate...the Sportlines are like a 5k / 4k combo...if you want a drop lower than 2", you need more like 8k / 6k...and double adjustable coilovers.

So you options are"

Reasonably low with springs...

-OR-

Slammed on coilovers.

There is NO in between.

actually theyre stock rates (~2k / ~2k)...they literally are just "lowering" springs, youll have a softer worse handling ride than stock

Not so...

I called Eibach back-in-the-day when I was first looking for springs for my S14, and although they were reluctant at fiorst, they did give me the spring rates.

Pro-Kit and Sportline are both preogressive...

The Pro-Kits were something like:

(F) 180-215lbs/in (3.2k-3.8k)(R) 160-195lbs/in (2.8k-3.5k)

And the Sportlines were a little stiffer, something like:

(F) 200-235lbs/in (3.6k-4.2k)(R) 190-215lbs/in (3.4k-3.8k)

...

So my 5/4 estimate above may have been high...but they are quite a bit stirffer than stock...and as I has Sportlines on my old S13, I can attest to the "sportiness" of them...they were kinda low, but still pretty good springs.

You can still get low with just springs but not low like coilovers.
